The Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) is considering the possibility of creating a pharmacy informatics board certification (at least the early stages). I am providing some of my initial thoughts on the subject without even going into whether it should be called pharmacoinformatics versus pharmacy informatics. For now at least.
